Because it's just entertainment. 

Illness and death is a serious matter and she has the power to do something. She doesn't want to sit back and be an entertainer when she can help people. 

Do you really think she wants to sing and dance and pick out designer looks when people are dropping dead. You or one of your family members could be next do you not realise that?

Of course, immaturity and hatefulness are bad and those users deserve punishment. But the vast majority was fans stating their disappointment, and we have every right to do so. She isn't perfect and it's okay for her to know that. Obviously we still love her.

I think gaga knows fans are dissapointed by now i wish more fans would exspress their dissapointment in a more civil mannner
