I mean music quality wise. I did not enjoy Stupid Larva one bit. Especially in terms of visuals (though I am rooting for it).

Stupid Love is doing really well on the charts though, its gaining each week   and the song and the visual are literally the best lead for years

No sis it is not doing really well. I am a chart enthusiast and it is "rising" but only due to radio support which we don't know if it will continue to grow or not. Without streaming this will only float around the lower ends of the top 30/20.

We need streaming points. Stupid Love under performed and is still underperforming because the GP said no to the song. The most we can expect from it is to float around and be stable until single #2 comes and hopefully does well (the Ari collab).

To be 100% honest, I think this may be one of her best, if not, her best album to date. Maybe I’m overhyping myself, but literally everything we’ve heard about this album sounds incredible to me. I can’t wait until she finally releases it!

Thats nice, but Stupid Love is one of the best songs of 2020 so far. There's no denying that. The visuals look amazing too, and from what I've heard... we are not ready for the rest of the visuals. The Chromatica era doesn't need saving. As soon as this Covid 19 stuff goes away, we can get back to it.

The Chromatica era does not need saving in terms of quality if you genuinly enjoyed Stupid Love like you did which is great and all (as I have been syaing over and over again). But for a lot of other ppl such as myself it was a massive let down quality wise both sonically and visually upon first listen and first view. 

Point is the Chromatica era still has so much to give since there are allegedly 16 songs but to me Stupid Love was a let down and its commercial performance was also a let down. The goal is to get it to last though and I am fully supporting the song despite the fact that I HIGHLY dislike it because I want the era to start on a good note. This is all I can do as a monster. Support my fav regardless and hopefully she will serve something I enjoy more (which is what I am banking from with single #2).

It'd also give her more flexibility in shooting for more general awards acclaim, if she still wants that (Ryan Tedder and Imogen Heap now have AOTY wins under their belts as producers!).

Would I love for her to collab with newer/other pop girlies? Of course. But, if Ariana is likely to be an exception (alongside Bey and Florence), then I see this as a pleasant, alternative likelihood.

She produced the Charlie's Angels ST, and I love Ariana, but that was a mess.
