I can, though. I just chose not to now Because I know thousands of non-vegans read this article and go "omg good for that cow!!! I love animals" when they're literally eating a steak. And that bothers me.

And, yes, paying people to let animals suffer for your own enjoyment is disgusting and anyone who engages in that kind of behavior (and I did for the most part of my life, so I'm not giving myself a free pass here) is choosing to engage in disgusting behavior. Fact.

If plants have feelings (absolutely no scientific evidence to support that) then the joke's still on you. You're sacrificing billions of plants for no reason, just to be eaten by other animals who you then have to still slaughter for food. You're basically throwing away tons of food, causing massive unnecessary suffering for both animals and plants.
