In the later half of the video you cant even tell whats happening. That same camera also ruined Perfect Illusion for me. Theres a heavy focus on close ups in lieu of wideshots likely to do with an iPhone not being a high budget filming camera. Its all very 'boxed in'. Its like the secondary spotify vertical video barely anyone watches or a "performance video". John Wayne is by no means an odyssey in terms of storytelling or visuals but you can tell it wasnt an iPhone video and it has more going on (not meaning the slapdash editing).
