Also, interscope made the decision but she definitely fully supports it. She wouldn't lie in her message.. She'd say she was made to. The reason she wants to is because she wants no restrictions so we can fully enjoy it, dance. She wants the opportunities to expose the music and give it a face. None of that could've happened now I know people are stans but you must at least try to see that this is 10x better than releasing like this, charts and numbers aside. I really enjoyed that era Yeah, I think Gaga was really feeling herself when she said that. Maybe Interscope kindly reminded her that she needed to be bringing the "bling" in. She didn't work with Max Martin, Ryan Tedder, Ariana and whomever else for funsies. It is what it is. There's nothing wrong with hoping for commercial and financial success. People are literally salivating for her to fail for whatever reason. I enjoyed the Joanne era as well, but it served a different purpose for Gaga. She wasn't in a great place career wise after ARTPOP and she went into overdrive trying to reshape her career and it worked. She tried/is trying to give the "fans" everything they claim they wanted with this new era and it got derailed. She worked hard on this and she doesn't want a flop or a lackluster era.
