Gaga @ Coachella

So Gaga said she had a surprise Coachella set. How would that work if she wasn’t on the lineup? Would she have joined TCHAMI at his set?

 

And also, do you guys think she would still go in October? I mean why not right? Or maybe she would play again next year?  Idk, I’m just sad cuz I was supposed to go this year...

I dont think set times were released , so they probably had an open slot for a secret performer

It was originally gonna be the weekend of her album release so it would have been the perfect launching pad.

I’m so sad because it would have been so awesome to see her there, especially as a surprise 😭

but I’m going to the Chicago show so I’m still grateful

That’s not really how it works though, they never have secret slots except for special guests who join other performers

Coachella was announced that it was going to be cancelled from quite some time so that, among other reasons, artists can prepare or plan other things, so I find it harmful and pointless to bring up Coachella now out of all things planned for Chromatica

No, sometimes on the lineup it will say like "4:00 – 5:00: Surprise Performer"

ACL Fest does this nearly every year, it just ends up being really niche or local bands. So it's possible that they had something set up like that for Gaga.
