I can understand why, but I disagree.

I think it's really important right now to have things that can bring us some joy. Music is one of those things. I don't think delaying music is a good decision.

With so much fear, anxiety and uncertainty, things like music, games, movies are more important than ever for people.

There's other music you can listen to, im sure you like other different artitsts? We've waited so long for the album.. what's a few weeks..months more?

What if YOU die without hearing the album?

I don't think they'd be aware of it :billie:

I literally cant understand how releasing a digital album cant happen during this outbreak? Honestly the streams and downloads would have been higher than usually cause nobody has anything to do. What am I not getting?

They've actually gone down, surprisingly

Hmm thats so counterintuitive to me though, are people usually playing music at their workplaces? I know clubs are closed but I thought they barely counted anyways. Sigh.

The theory I’ve seen for it is that a lot  of people stream music on their way to work or school, at the gym, basically when they’re on the move. Being at home doesn’t make them want to listen to music as much.

They are watching netflix now that they are at home. Schitt's Creek's streaming was up 70% yesterday.

Lol, of course there are others.

That doesn't mean I can't disagree with a decision to delay music from Gaga. I'm not upset about having to wait - I could wait years if I had to. I'm personally quite content. But it's not just about me. It's about the people who are sick, scared, suffering and losing their jobs and fearing for their lives and the lives of the people around them.

There's very little good in the world right now. I just don't think delaying something that can bring a little more good into people's lives is the right decision.

Well if they die of Corona they are going to...I mean days in constant suffer thinking of everything they won't be able to do...like listening to the new Lady Gaga album thanks to the delay :excuseu:

What if tomorrow I see you again? Should I say that I used to love you?

Having been a steadfast fan and collector of her CDs since 2008, I truly never thought I’d be considering not purchasing an album of hers. But here we are. I’m legitimately that frustrated over how this entire situation has been handled.

It must have been a hard decision for her to do this or to accept the fact that maybe Interscope or something postponed it on behalf of Gaga :(

Anyway, I'm happy to hear that she had planned surprises for this era. When taking that into consideration, it's better that the album is postponed because when things go back to normal or closer to normal, she can promote Chromatica on talk shows etc. And now because of the postponement I assume she'll create more exciting things for us:heart:

I'm sending love to Gaga and to all of you :kara: Be safe and wash your hands!

To be honest, maybe it's for the best. I haven't been excited for this album because SL didn't turn out how we wanted and the single just seems to have been forgotten, even by her fans. The public clearly weren't here for it. It's unthinkable that her first single post-ASIB debuted at #5 (which was good) and then dropped like a stone afterwards. Because I wasn't overly keen on it, I haven't been as hyped for the album. Of course I'll still buy it but I'm cautious about this one. To see it wait this long with no second single, no tracklist and no album cover was making her chances of having a big debut much smaller. And to see how well The Weeknd's been selling, it was going to be a big gamble to compete with him in his fourth week, especially if his singles keep on getting streams. Now Childish Gambino and Dua have entered the equation, she stood the risk of being glossed over. With any luck, it'll get a summer release so she can still do the Chromatica Ball. I don't want it released in the autumn as that's when big names will release and Adele said she'd be releasing in September. I hope the delay will ensure the second single has a good video with lots of effort put into it and will have a much better roll-out with lots of extra planning going into it. I've been waiting this long for the album. I can wait a few months more. None of us were expecting a lead single in February and an album in April, so this adjusts it to around the time I actually thought she'd release anyway.

we've waited for years and now some of you are acting like a few more months will make you turn in your stan card.

i know that i want live performances, music videos, proper promo, etc. so that this era can be the best that it can be.

i understand why you are upset but some of you are really blowing this up when there are serious issues in the world right now.

There's always serious issues going on yet people live their lives and release music stop using this narrative it's invalid
