I get your point, but I don't feel like the price was paid rightfully. Thousands of innocent people lost their lives who had nothing to do with this.

When I say negligence, I’m talking about all kinds of it. Negligence from us as human beings to our environment and also from all global governments to people in general.

Can we at least get articles that shed light and offer some form of good news??

It's also pertinent to see if they're testing more people than the previous days. we've seen a spike in Canada as a result of more people getting tested.

Pretty sure a lot of this is catch-up testing. The US barely tested anyone for a good 2 months.. this thing has been going around unnoticed in many people for some time it seems.

The only sliver of hope I see in this is that the mortality rate may be much lower than previously predicted if most of the mild and moderate cases are going unreported.

Scary numbers nonetheless.. Hopefully mass testing can help flatten the curve a bit.

And? A lot more people got sick from the usual flu today, but no one is talking about it, because everyone is used to it.

I'm thinking of that Watchmen movie. Have y'all watched it?  When the world is on the verge of conflict that can lead to war, they come up with a "common enemy", now many countries will have to unite against it and they won't think of starting fights with each other. What do you think? it's just my 2 cents

I really hope that the Communist Party of China will pay the price for silencing whistle-blowers, lying, and infecting the whole world with its virus. It has committed one of the greatest atrocities in modern history.

At this point it's scary how hard it is to tell how fast it's spreading vs just the influx of MORE testing available, so more positives will come up.

How long does the virus stay in you again? I know you're quarantined for two weeks, and before that there is an incubation period of up to 14 days. So it it safe to say you could test positive for it for well over a month?

When I see numbers like this I don't automatically panic because I know (in the USA at least) we finally have started to test those with symptoms more frequently than before. So it should come as no shock that the numbers keep going up every few hours. I believe in Florida we've gone up to near 600 cases today.
