Kylie Jenner urged to tell young people to take COVID-19 seriously

Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams is urging Kylie Jenner to use her clout to help emphasize the seriousness of coronavirus to young people.

“We need to get our social media influencers out there in helping folks understand that this is serious. This is absolutely serious. People are dying,” Adams said Thursday on “Good Morning America.”

“I have a 15 and a 14-year-old, and the more I tell them not to do something, the more they want to do it,” Adams said. “What I really think we need to do…is get our influencers out. We need to get Kylie Jenner.”

But, why? Why are only hearing about celebrities who DEFINITELY didn't get a memo handed to them on the talking points of self-isolating, and are able to live a more than comfortable lifestyle alone? Why so many celeb cases, when us ordinary folk need 8 days just to get a result which may or not not be a false positive? 

Maybe, instead of getting chastised by Kylie Jenner, who I guarantee would socialize that night with 10+ people, on how we should stay home and just await the virus that 70% of us are getting anyway and sacrifice our children's healthcare, struggle to pay rent, struggle to find food, etc., they could GET THEIR FACTS STRAIGHT so that if such sacrifices are needed, we could at least know that their story makes effing sense. Since, the timeline of how this has gone from 'the flu' per the WHO to a pandemic to a virus that is undergoing vaccine trial to a virus that we don't even build immunity to is ridiculous.

Maybe we need to hear from REAL PEOPLE on how to balance the catastrophic risks of self-isolating with the risks of the virus, hear about the safety nets being put in place or actually WORK ON CREATING SAFETY NETS, understand the testing process and why it is that we are giving up our rights when the govt. supposedly can't order testing kits? Maybe we could get facts, not fear. Facts, not an evolving telenovela. Facts, not the script of Contagion. Facts, not propaganda from celebrities who are quite frankly, full of it.

I want every. single. celebrity who has wrote about the need for self-isolation to post a live camera feed. If they want us to give up our rights to Big Brother, they should be fine with having their right to privacy compromised if it helps inspire us which is OBVIOUSLY their main concern per their IG posts, right? Or, do you think just maybe Gaga is sneaking out of compassionate, kind, quarantine to go see her boyfriend on her jet? Or, that Ariana is still walking around with a posse of 10+? If I can't go to work, socialize, or go pray in a church as I await what comes, then these millionaires bullying me should show me that they are walking the walk.

Our government started a COVID19 campaign here with artists, athletes and influencers and I'm seeing it EVERYWHERE on instagram. they're even posting videos online so people stay inside and watch them. States should do the same in the US.
