Yes we both know that.

But at the end of the day, it was a really stupid thing to defend about the Castro regime- especially when he's trying to win Latinos/ Hispanics in FLORIDA.

Also Obama was in Cuba as a guest if I'm not mistaken, and even then, some people were not happy with his comments.

Bernie was given multiple times to explain himself, and instead he just doubled down on his Castro support. Clearly it backfired.

You keep saying "Castro support," as if Bernie didn't explicitly condemn Castro every single time he addressed this question. He explained himself clearly, every time: "Castro was a dictator. Also, their healthcare system is more successful than ours." He can't claim that the Cuban universal healthcare system is a failure while simultaneously advocating for universal healthcare in America. The press deliberately put him in an impossible situation, explicitly creating this scenario to hurt him in Florida.

Let’s not call being nuanced, stupid. The only stupidity here is seeing the world as black and white.

If Obama “explained” his comments to mean the opposite of what he’d said, people would just distrust him more... and as they should :queenga:

Unfortunately being in Cuba land Miami. 90 percent of Cubans went crazy when he said what he said and labeled him a communist. They already felt he was a semi communist (hardcore trump crowd in Cuba land here) so that just put the nail in it.

Who cares what Republican Cubans think? Honestly.

It’s the ones who vote blue who matter here.

The Republicans are not going to vote for Biden in November.

Cubans who vote blue or lean blue will go to Biden either way.

Florida will probably be super close again, will be a nail biter.

I realize that nothing we say about this will matter because the DNC doesn't care about us, but this primary is completely illegitimate. Just blatant corruption from top to bottom. 2016 was nothing compared to this.

Such genuinely great news. :tony:

Important to note that "slay queen" Pelosi backed Lipinski, a pro-lifer and worked against the progressive, pro-choice female candidate in this race. Can't believe Newman was able to pull it off.
