What’s interesting is how LatinX voters showed up for Bernie hard in western states but completely rejected him in Florida. My guess is border issues were more pressing for Mexican-American/ Central American and SA voters than they were for Cuban-American voters?

Early guess because I haven’t seen the actual numbers.

Many Cubans in Florida are Republicans.

OT: This is a great chance for Bernie to come away with at least one win today. With older people most likely coming out less, younger people have the opportunity to give Bernie a win.

It's ignorance. Many people vote on name recognition and know nothing about policy. 

Also, many perceive Biden as the one who can beat Trump.

At least voter turnout in Florida looks like it'll best the 2016 turnout. And that's with the virus keeping people away.

Truly disturbing... What is happening?

Last Thursday we had like 24 cases here in the Province of Quebec, Canada, and our PM announced closure of schools for 2 weeks, no events of 250+ people, 14-day mandatory isolement for state employees that travelled during spring break + voluntary isolement for others.

Then Friday he announced national sanitary emergency by closing visits in hospitals, old people care houses.. and on Saturday he closed public libraries, museums, theaters, gyms... he limited restaurants to 50% of their capacity and recommends everyone to work from home if they can. if you lose your job because of the virus, the government will give you 570$/week to keep you afloat. you have the right to not go to work if you're working in contact with the public etc. 

Idk what are the measures in the US but like... I'm not seeing anyone having parties here

Florida had already cast 300K ballots by Super Tuesday (March 3), so the turnout was always going to be more than 2016. 

This is what's needed to beat Trump in Florida. I'm keeping an eye on the GOP turnout as well.

Do New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey look good for Bernie at all? 

Florida was always going to go to Joe, especially with the comments Bernie made about Cuba and Castro (which I personally believe was blown waaaay  out of proportion, but hey, what are you going to do now?). Those 3 states have the largest delegate counts out of all the remaining states.

President Trump is now officially poised to be the Republican presidential nominee after surpassing the required number of delegates to attain the GOP nomination.

The president was not facing any significant challenges to his reelection bid and has won every state in the Republican primary thus far. Going into election night Tuesday, Trump had already accrued a total of 1,104 delegates and needed to hit the GOP threshold of 1,276.
