And its becoming more and more difficult to get food because grocery stores are bare. I went to four different stores this morning. I couldn't get bread, milk, eggs, butter or any kind of chicken or meat. Take out now might be some peoples only options. I'm lucky my boyfriend has a Costco card and he ended up taking me there and luckily they were fully stocked with the food i needed to get. It's people are "dumb" & they buy everything in like 10 exemples... Authorities have said there will be no problems with the availability of products but some people just buy 20 cans of ravioli... Sounds about right to me
noisullitcefrep 3,871
Yes, the situation here is awful right now. But I'm still glad that we have a government which acts transparently and can be trusted. They don't beat around the bush, answer critical questions publically and they're trying ther best to prevent the virus from spreading, which is unfortunately difficult in a fairly rural country where people don't wanna believe that their perfect world could possibly be shattered. It's a huge privilege to be able to have such trust in your government, therefore my thoughts go out to all people who are unable to do so, who cannot rely on help and advise from their officials. During these times humanity has to come together (not literally I-) and do everything we can to stop this virus. Also all of humanity should be streaming Chromatica while we're at it

But its useless if you do that in a crowded environment, it's STUPID. Your chances of getting infected sky rocket. pooiota

Even after Trudeau said this morning that people need to stay home as much as they possibly can, I’m still seeing people walk down my street with Starbucks and fast food etc. My province (BC) or at least Vancouver needs to start taking more drastic measures. I don’t care if some people can’t handle the truth. Same here in Ireland, It doesn't help that's it's St Patrick's Day. Everything's been cancelled Pubs are closed but people are still getting together in large groups to party. It makes my blood boil. People are just being incredibly selfish and not thinking of others. It's mainly the least vulnerable people not caring and putting the rest of the population at risk. Sadly I think until it either escalates to a point where by then it'll be too late or if their Parents/Grandparents get the virus will they start to care.
