I feel given the circumstances the airlines and proudly defend her fighting back after such disgusting actions had taken place.

My only worry here is the fact the FA slapped him too. Which unfortunately may look bad under the airline’s image. While a respectable and appropriate response, I doubt the airline will like that. Which reallt pisses me off as it could cost her her job or at least senior ranking.

That's what normal person will do being disrespected like that.

I hope not. It was a natural reaction and you could even argue she was defending herself. Like he was  upon her face and spitted on her ( also she is already an older lady so if she is in a risicogroup concerning covict-19 )

Name and shame him. He needs to have this follow him for the rest of his life. No more job promotions. And a permanent ban on all airlines affiliated with Brussels Airlines.

Every airlines. Point blank.

Economy

It's so hard to judge this without the intro for clear context

Two things are certain:

#1 Even if this customer was somehow wronged. He is still WAY overreacting and this is not the way to handle anything. He's acting like a frikken wild animal. The rage is insane :saladga:

#2 that female flight attendant, I know it's hard to keep calm when someone is being so agressive and whack but she should have tried to be professional and contained herself and not have slapped him and escalated situation even more, slapping a customer is a big no no and she could loose her job over this

#3 The Way he slapped her back way harder still uncalled for

She shouldn't have slapped him as I said but it is understandable why she did

It's hard to keep composure for that long after that much agression going on and on

If that were possible, then most definitely.

If he is like this in public, can you imagine what he is capable of behind close doors? I hope the airline gives her a bravery medal.

She did exactly that, acted professionally.

he then spit in her face... she was correct to hit him. It doesn’t matter if she was at work, you DONT allow people to spit in you face, ESPECIALLY right now.

I hope she gets a promotion.
