drinkmytears 2,332
They clearly were not look at the figures divide Madonna's attendance numbers by the gross huge diffence,Latin America was obviously a disaster for LN if thy borrowed the MDNA stage,I can't see why she should go back anytime soon They obviously used that stage for several other events, not only Gaga. It wasn't even Madonna's stage.

Madonna's will be bigger than Gagas.. This is not flop.. It is because Madonna's tickets is more expensive.. IS IT TOO HARD FOR U UNDERSTAND ? In São Paulo is the same for both.. and madonna's tickets were more expensive than Gaga's.. we can cleary see the gives free away and discounts for Madonna's  Porto Alegre were selling 1 month before the concert.. yeah.. they put on sale just one month before the concert. In Rio.. a big store bought 1500 madonna's tickets and was giving for their people... And the rio's government bought 500 tickets and were given away.. Like 2000 free tickets that makes Madonna's gross higher than Gaga's Edited January 5, 2013 by netoschultz

Im trying to get tickets but every time I try to get them it gives me the same seating option. Section 216 row 17. Is there a way to look at othert available seats? All packages are sold out + Lower section is almost sold out There is only upper seats for 200 USD I would prefer upper seats close to the stage than Lower Seats but far from the stage Edited January 5, 2013 by netoschultz
Dangerous Man 9,245
The gross income in LA is great imo considering the overall attendance there. "A little less conversation and a little more touch my body."
TheMadridHash 4
I didn't talk about Latin America before you said about Mexico... i didn't say nothing about Mexico.. AGAIN FOR YOU! I WAS TALKING ABOUT SOUTH AMERICA.. NOT LATIN AMERICA... Tickets in Mexico.. Costa Rica and Puerto Rico aren't too expensive There were give aways...promotions..that's why the gross wasn't too high.. we can't pay ****in' 366.59 USD for a GA ticket in Brazil or 531 USD for a seat in Chile or 432 USD for a seat in Peru or 403 USD for a GA in Paraguay.. WE ARE NOT RICH COUNTRIES... Is it too hard for u understand? YEAH! It was too expensive.. it was the price of the tickets.. if they weren't too ambitious.. the gross would be bigger! It is funny.. when people say it wasn't the price of tickets.. when the most expensive ticket in London was 128.08.. in Dublin was 126.02 and in my country was 366.59! Power parity per capita in England - $50,566 (MOST EXPENSIVE TICKET - 128.08) Power parity per capita in Brazil - $11,769 (MOST EXPENSIVE TICKET - 366.59) Latin American tickets are ussually very expensive It's not because WE CAN'T PAY THEM, because when madonna came with her S&S tour she destroyed records, when U2 came it also slayed the fact is that THERE IS ENOUGH ADULTS WHO ARE WILLING TO PAY SUCH PRICES BECAUSE THEY CAN, but when you involve a person like gaga and put similar high prices into play there's a very HIGH CHANCE that ticket sales won't be good because her fanbase unlike others(madonna, U2, Roger waters etc...) is YOUNG wich means is still ECONOMICALLY DEPENDENT ON THEIR PARENTS on general basis if you look at even MDNA's resuslts you see that even having a decline from her previous tour the gross still very good aside from the fact that she didn't slayed, her ticket prices were EXTREMELY HIGH but the people who went to the shows were willing to pay such amount Edited January 5, 2013 by TheMadridHash

Stop making things up first you said price was the reason Latin America was a flop when it couldn't be since other artists fill bigger venues with twice the price in tickets,What are you even talking about?!?! superman 32
so to summarise:btwball grosses so far 162 million and will possibly outgross the monster ball with half dates.rihanna , beyonce, britney, katy , etc all havent come close to those numbers .the only female that surpassed gaga is madonna. conclusion for some ppl in this fanbase: btwball flopped , it wasnt succesfull, she has to learn from all the disasters from this tour. common sense is yet to be found:)

If you do not have enough intelligence to know the difference between Mexico and Brazil is not my fault.. I did not talked about Mexico before you confuse it with Brazil .. As in 2011 .. Gaga's prices were not high compared Mexico to South America. Madonna has the power selling tickets 2x more expensive than Gaga in Mexico .. is not my fault .. I did not talk about it and i did not confuse countries .. now .. show me the artist who sold out with prices more expensive than Gaga's .. cause' in the last years.. there isn't an popstar with the same prices for her show in Brazil.. just Madonna and Madonna didn't sell out Prices in South America Bogota - $212.93, $71.53 Rio de Janeiro - $366.60, $43.99 São Paulo - $366.59, $46.43 Porto Alegre - $315.11, $72.72 Buenos Aires - $208.33, $52.08 Santiago - $531.58, $60.45 Lima - $432.94, $29.96 Asuncion - $403.60, $40.36 Mexico prices Mexico City - $153.80, $24.61 A big difference Edited January 5, 2013 by netoschultz
