ditaparlo 0
Pollstar 2010 Monster Ball - 1,514,395 tickets + Pollstar 2011 Monster Ball - 658,446 tickets + 2009 = Dating back to November of 2009, Lada Gaga's 200 reported Monster shows grossed $227.4 million and drew 2.5 million people, according to numbers reported to Billboard Boxscore. http://www.billboard.com/events/lady-gaga-s-monster-ball-tour-breaks-record-1005172562.story#/events/lady-gaga-s-monster-ball-tour-breaks-record-1005172562.story
George 363
All according to Pollstar,The monster ball (3 years on the road) did not sell 2,5m tickets according to Billboard What promotion did Rihanna have? Gaga DID have 70% OFF promotions ( I was considering going LOL) Pollstar was right about BTWB sales, why wouldnt it be about mdna? And, the 2.5 million were not box officed, you can tell by researching in wikipedia (nothing easier) that the 1.4 million you claim is only part of the shows. And, Billboard later said this: http://www.billboard.com/events/lady-gaga-s-monster-ball-tour-breaks-record-1005172562.story#/events/lady-gaga-s-monster-ball-tour-breaks-record-1005172562.story Hello, it's me
28386 0
I didn't mean promotion like sale and Gaga tickets didn't have any sale LOL By promotion, i meant performances + single + this was the time of the 777 Tour, en event that everybody talked about And we can't compare the old Madonna tours bc of the inflation, but why do you always have to diss Gaga ? She's been there for like only 5 years and she already can get these numbers ! That's part of the every day release of an album? I was talking about a SALES PROMOTION (DISCOUNT)

Jake 0
lol at the member trying to discredit Gaga's tour accomplishments. Especially comparing Rihanna's album sales and ticket sales. The albums you used are older or as old as The Fame/Monster. Those don't count for Rihanna's recent accomplishments either ;) Compare Talk That Talk or Unapologetic to Born This Way and you'll see a better reflection of Rihanna's current standing. Yes, she's popular in Europe but even comparing her overall touring power to Gaga's is so laughable. Get me when she cracks 150 million. Your information is wrong, and you're a troll that none of us can have any hope of giving accurate information to. Have a nice day.
