Here in Chile, the media was like "Gaga comes to Chile: the event of the year, such a big production", but they havent said a word since then, i've read its the same in other countries, dont know what is the deal with not doing promo, or being so private with info. TheMadridHash 4 Posted November 3, 2012 Share Posted November 3, 2012 Look, Entretainment Media WILL ALWAYS want to bring a star down, that has happened HUNDREDS OF TIMES in the past and will continue to go through as long as people keep enjoying to watch the decay of a superstar gaga has climbed VERY Fast to pasition that in later years took more than a couple of years to clynch, this made her image be really big, without her having that BIG of a fan base, we can't expect gaga to have the same amount of people having her music as they do with artists like Paul or Madonna, besides, the music that gaga has made so far has been mostly(with few exceptions) for YOUNG people, she hasn't really aproached to a wider audience, so that makes it a bit hard that people that are a bit older(without any disrespect) don't feel or understand what she is all about, and even beleive she is just another corporate machine as it was britney in her time or someone like Justin Beiber nowadays you just have to give her time, maybe her next album will finally stablish herself as a BIG act Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Unfortunately, we'll only get the gross from the last seven shows, not including Costa Rica, but it will certainly clear up the speculation about how many attended the show in Nice and Mexico. And wow, Costa Ricans came right out of nowhere. Seems it's all the rage to buy your Gaga tickets last minute. I'm still not sure if we can get an honest 100% sell out, but it will definitely be listed as a sell out. I think the problem in some of these countries is simply that not enough people know that she's performing until the very last minute and many of them perhaps couldn't get tickets at such short notice. Promotion seems to be a real issue in certain markets. I called MGM Grand Garden Arena and the person I was talking to said both nights (January 25th and 26th) are SOLD OUT. Someone please update the OP. I've updated it, but do realise that when a show sells out fast, it's usually because there were less tickets available than the capacity holds. Once a show sells out, more tickets are usually added until the entire venue is packed. Some people said that certain shows had sold out and then it was later revealed that there were still tickets available. I would think after this time, the both shows being sold out sounds reasonable, though.
