Those 100k people from last year were from THREE different dates, two of which weren't the city she's playing at right now. This time she's only doing 1 date and the stage is bigger so there goes a good % of the audience too, she played for 55k people with TMB, in this very same venue, if i'm not mistaken, and now she's playing for 40k, realistically she only lost 10-15k people of the audience which is impressive considering how polarizing and in-your-face the BTW era was, other acts could only dream of playing for 40,000 people after an era like BTW and the tour starting after a flop single and a whole year after the album even came out when everyone most likely already lost interest for the music, she's doing GREAT. no flops here AT ALL, only the ocassional overreactions from the same member and their ~*~*FLOPz ALERTTTT YALL!!!!1!!@!11! :crazy: ~*~* She sold over 140k Tickets the last time she went to mexico from 3 shows 30k in Guadalajara 110k in Mexico DF from 2 dates @ Foro Sol (55k avg per night) You can look at the info from Billboard, she lost almost 100k people in one year and a half i don't like it either, but there's no reason to stay in denial, mexico did NOT like BTW Edited October 27, 2012 by TheMadridHash Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

With TMB was the first time Gaga was in Mexico and was the only BIG Pop Tour to reach Mexico..all of that audience was general public..now its 17 months after that and madonna has 2 shows over there with tickets being avalable 3 months sooner than gagas even if gagas show was in october and madges in november. Madge got the huge number of general public and that for too f** expensive tickets..tell me someone normal people and not fan that buy a madge ticket for $300 and then gaga put on sale her tickets and gonna buy another tick for $200.. the fails in mexico was the bad timeing (close to madonnas shows), late availability of tickets (3 months later than madonnas)..also dont forget that btwb tickets were a lot more expensive than tmb and she's touring for an album that is 18 months old.. Surely you understand that 16000 is less than 50000 and thusly would require a higher number of dates. More stadium shows = less dates & bigger audiences. São Paulo's date now has a capacity for 70,200 people, confirmed on T4F's Facebook (the promoter that is bringing her here). I think that she will gross something like 250M-270M. Here in Latin America, I expect something between 45-60M. The tickets are REALLY REALLY expensive. Just in Mexico she will do something like 4M. She's really not playing that many stadiums at least not enough to make up for a 70date difference, the prices aren't that much higher either. And why she did stadiums, she didn't do multiple shows, she had like 11 dates in the UK for TMB and just four this time and if you probably add up the 11 arena dates she did compared to the 4 stadium dates, it's probably isn't that much of an increase in attendance.
