TheMadridHash 4
think live nation was VERY smart putting all the legs of both MDNA & BTWB apart from each continent with the exception of Latin America, but of course, it is inevitable that these tours hitted the region during that time since all outdoors concerts in this region must be done during Nov/Dec 'cuz its dry season anyway, this just shows that an artists that has somehow the same audience that madonna has, should never compite against her(i am not a madonna fan at all) she is really big when it comes to Tour prestige if you don't beleive me, just look at the dates, it was obvious that LN WAS thinking of adding that 2nd date in Buenos Aires, but the fan's money just wasn't there, it was obvious too that they were hoping for a 2nd date in Morumbi, but that didn't happen either Edited October 24, 2012 by TheMadridHash
StrawberryBlond 14,217
Can anyone tell me the prices of Latin American tickets? Because I've just heard that they're VERY expensive, even moreso than Madonna tickets. And were some regions more expensive than others? If that is the case, I can understand why Madonna possibly "dried out" the region by having her tickets on sale before Gaga's because hers are expensive enough already. Maybe fans of both had to make a choice about who they wanted to see more as they just couldn't afford it. And of course, maybe they thought: "Gaga hasn't released any Latin dates yet - maybe she never will or my region won't be included. Meanwhile, Madonna has already released Latin dates and if I don't get tickets now, they might be sold out if I wait to see if Gaga's coming here." However, I hear that Madonna's Latin dates aren't selling well, apart from that sold out date in Medellin. Is this true?

Is this true? the prices overall in latin america are somehow in the middle between normal & expensive there are some places like Colombia, CHILE, Argentina & peru where the best GA tickets are over 150-200$ wich is just a bit over what the normal and of course you have paraguay that exceeds the 400$ but the most expensive tickets overall in the region are the best seating tickets that your show has available, non the less, i don't think gaga's tickets go way over of what people expect when artist of a certain level reach this region i remember that when both Britney & Justin(not that i went, i just did some research) visited my country, tickets were over 500$ Edited October 24, 2012 by TheMadridHash

Got Dynamite 0
The premium in SP and Rio is like US$325. In Porto Alegre is US$400. Latin America dates are very expensive. Madonna tickets on SP, Rio, and POA is like US$400, but the cheaper tickets are more expensive for Gaga. :D

StrawberryBlond 14,217
Just wondering where you get your info? Montreal Feb 11th aint sold out at all. From other users, mainly, as they seem to know more than me. But yes, I've heard reports that some dates aren't sold out at all. Maybe they read something wrong or Live Nation added more tickets seeing as it was selling so well. Even if it's not completely right, I think we can rest assured that those dates will end up selling out, even if only superficially (in other words, it met the minimum to be considered a sell out). I just hope that my occasional wrong information isn't stopping people from buying tickets in these regions because they assume that everything I've stated is absolute fact! Yeah, i rembember it, and it was F***ING HUGE. I'm from Brazil. If she sold out SP (i mean, it will be sold out, but if she sell the 67.900 tickets), she will gross around 8 million. If my math is right, just from this dates, she will gross around 20 million. I think it will be like, 157.000 people (67k from SP, 70k from Rio and 20k from POA.)
