“BC health officials implemented new measures Thursday to stall the spread of COVID-19.
The province is advising citizens to avoid all non-essential international travel, including trips to the US. People who do travel will need to stay home from work or school for 14 days after returning from their trip, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry told reporters Thursday.

The province is also asking event organizers to cancel all planned gatherings for more than 250 people.

At the same news conference, Dr. Henry also announced seven new COVID-19 cases Thursday, bringing the total number of cases the province has seen to 53.”

Well it’s over. I’m not going to Vegas.

I know. But unfortunately my friend I already booked our flights & hotel tickets. We were waiting on news if we would be safe still going to Vegas even if the shows were cancelled, so we could still go on vacation.

I’m so sorry, this sucks.

Today we just had a third case here in my city in Ontario, and it was a man returning from Vegas where he caught it. I do think it’s for the best to avoid travel there

Maybe the advisory won't be in place by May? It is increasingly likely that Enigma and J&P will be cancelled or rescheduled (I'm so sorry!), but if you and your friend still want to take a trip to Vegas, it might be better by then...Or, it might be worse...Did you also end up getting After Dark tickets? I wonder if that would go on because it's a smaller amount of people (only a few hundred, maybe even less than that)... 

I'm sad for you and all the others going. I know you were really looking forward to this.

We didn’t get After Dark tickets. It’s so hard for everyone right now to predict how their travel plans will be impacted. I think if the situation changes for the better and entering the country or just Nevada specifically becomes safe, we will still go to Vegas. 

I wonder what the likelihood is of Enigma and J&P shows being rescheduled...
