But having a lot of elderly and immunocompromised patients in hospitals at once would be very hard for health care systems, and actually put health care workers at risk. For most people the symptoms are mild and only something like 20% of people infected need hospital care. Now you take action build yourself a shield of protection by keeping your hands washed, not touching your face, keeping hand sanitizer with you at all times, sanitize your phone and wallet every day, don’t go to large events, try exercising outside instead of at the gym for a while. The virus is already in the US, and it's spreading like wildfire even without travelling to and from Europe. It's a laughable measure.
