If the coronavirus infects the same number of people as H1N1, an estimated 1,830,000 million people will die. of all the numbers i've seen from different countries, that fatality rate kind of is a constant through it all when i roughly guestimate, which scares me. i just really hope that the number of infected that we don't know about with mild symptoms is a really big number so that the fatality rate is in actuality quite low. Gotta stay away from media then, they like to influence your thinking. excuse me but the media's coverage is not what's making me worry. it's these interviews with doctors on youtube and AMA's with doctors on reddit and that personal story of a possible coronavirus case that's making me think the media is in fact not making it as big of an issue as it actually is. that stupid dr. on joe rogan that's trending on youtube made it seem much much worse than the impression i get from any of the media. Making the death rate similar to the annual flu of 2% and only because we have adapted slightly more to the flu. Millions of people were tested therefore the mortality rate was lower in the end. In the early days of Swine Flu it was declared a pandemic after a month and the mortality rate was much higher.
