There is no rumor option in the news section right? :gum:  I'll message a mod hopefully they can move it to the right spot

Literally just edit the title and put:

Rumor: Bernie to drop out of race

I put "allegedly" so I thought that is good enough but I'll change it since "rumor" in the title is even clearer tbh. Thanks!

I'm so sad :fail: This society is absolutely miserable, yet we keep voting for more of what got us in this terrible situation.

Praying he doesn’t, I’d like to see what it looks like after a few more states. Me being hopeful. :cryga:

Sad because I feel like a candidate has never spoken so much to my needs before. He genuinely made me believe in the ability of our government. Also to get out and do things in my community!

Wait I’m confused why is flying back to Vermont proof he’s running out?

It tends to be a thing in American politics.

:chica: Team Pete can feel for the Bernie Bros if this is true. We got word Pete flew back to South Bend before he announced his suspension. It’s rough. But the most important thing is we build a movement as a party to win the elections. And not just the Presidential, but all the down ballot one.

We need to turn out attention to Senate races in Iowa, North Carolina, Maine, New Hampshire, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia Texas, Arizona, Kansas, Colorado and Montana! We have great candidates in all those races with many weak GOP incumbents to beat.

I got drunk

He should be suspending, sooner or later. Every day he stays in is a day the party remains divided and cannot focus on the general election to defeat Trump.

He has said before he will support the nominee whoever it is. Looking forward to that.

As for this news, unlike his supporters on this website, I'll be generous enough to say he did quite a lot in the last 5 years to advance progressive ideas. But he has failed to broaden his coalition beyond his base twice now.

It's time to do the right thing now. Bye Bernie.

If you hate Trump that much, you should vote for someone who is not Trump and has a chance to win!

Don't just stop voting because your preferred candidate didn't get the nomination..

Otherwise, be prepared to be stuck with Trump for another four years and you have no right to complain!

It still hurts. But I'm glad Pete is young enough to run again. I'm excited to see what he does next. He's the future of the Democratic party.
