nick4bty 2,758
During "20/20's" debut week, the lowest advertised price for the album at a national retailer was $7 -- both Walmart and Amazon.com were selling the physical CD for that price. 6.99 is unusually low, even for first week l doubt that's the permanent price. $7 is not that cheap for a 10-track CD. And they had no choice but to make it that low, especially when they were competing with Target, who had the 12-track version exclusively for $10. I wouldn't exactly call that a "tactic." It was cheap enough to drive sales into week 1. Probably as much impact as Gaga having a not-very-popular rival of itunes offer a steep discount for 2 days. Having a moderate but significant discounts at several retailers all week, plus a Target deal (which Gaga passed up for political reasons).

Math 92
JT team has targeted this era at young adults/adults aka ppl who still bother to buy albums. the promo spots, the imagery, the music, the videos. lots of grammys in the bag imo
Dangerous Man 9,245
ok, so far, I predict 500K for ARTPOP. But it can go higher depending on the hype during that time. :ARTPOP: "A little less conversation and a little more touch my body."
