Marjorine 0
Just Dance, LoveGame, and BDR are generic, s-x-selling videos. I never said they weren't. Telephone was different than any video released at the time. Many little clones came out after. Y&I had depth. I fear for those who can't understand the storyline and message of that video. We were talking about the songs Yuyi was basically about her boyfriend it's hardly deep, doesn't stop it from being a great song tho not everything Gaga does is meaningful like open your eyes Cake Like Lady Gaga? Weed? Stache? ...sorry if I'm coming off as a little rude

Weed? Stache? ...sorry if I'm coming off as a little rude Gaga has deep songs and demonstrates lyrical strength, and maturity as an artist. Taylor has been talking about bad boys and break ups since she broke out. Whether with blonde hair or pink highlights, it's been the same story over and over just with a different twist. Musically, she's moving in REVERSE with the immaturity and pop-esque feel of the new songs.

Well, she's a country singer, you can't expect her to start singing about hookers and celebrity deaths :rip:

What about politics? Religion? The D. Chicks did it.
Nick 29
Taylor is the perfect crossover artist.
Deacon 5
I'm so excited to have new Britney, Beyonce, and Gaga albums next year. Thankfully with Britney, I have zero interest in anything but the music (such as performances, interviews, tour, etc) so this era should be a breeze compared to FF when I basically returned my stan card lol. Oyemiamor 40
Taylor is the perfect crossover artist. Yeah but just like Shania Twain and Faith Hill, people got bored of the same ol' story.

Why, the story of dangerous love or a bad break-up isn't refreshing to you? :derpga:

You better be ready to beg for it back when next era comes rolling in. :nacho: Taylor is the perfect crossover artist. I think Rihanna is more crossover. She has Rhythmic, Urban, and Pop on her side. Taylor on has country and pop on occasion (depending on the song).

Maybe she just doesn't want to go out of her comfort zone? I don't see anything wrong with that
