Because TS is annoying as ****. If I hear that damn saxophone one more time I'm going to shoot myself.

Saxophone is cool, not like everyone else is doing it all over radio.

Well the saxophone is quite original actually.

But gurl it's life. Huge hits can be annoying for some people.  ;)

Just bought The Heist. I like what I'm hearing from him, plus, it's an album full of future hits :ARTPOP:

It seems TS would have yet another lengthy run atop the HOT 100 chart. The slayage it currently has in iTunes is just unbelievable.  :reno:

Indeed, except that radio has been trying to kill TS lately.

Still the song has been slaying for so long. It's amazing. Totally coming for that #1 on the best selling songs in the US.

I'm actually surprised that Ariana's song is holding in the top 10 of itunes.

"A little less conversation and a little more touch my body."

Exactly.  How many other rap songs are currently in power rotation?  None.

Thrift Shop is the only song of it's kind even being played on pop radio.

I thought Thrift Shop was just some very average rap song then all the sudden it was #1 on iTunes. To my ears it sounds generic... It's just the lyrics that help it stand apart.

Just Dance was a very average dance song before it went number one on iTunes. too.  The song itself is good, but that's not what makes it so impressive.  It's the fact that Macklemore is the only person to be able to popularize a rap song in a dance/indie music environment.
