I really hope they can all escape from that mess of a label. Superfans of all artists think their label makes dumb choices. Even though Kylie is 5/5 with UK Platinum albums with Parlophone, Kylie fans know of bad singles choices foisted on her, fan favourite tracks keep off albums, and blame the label for not getting her on US radio in recent years. Madonna screwed Madonna with MDNA strategy. Lana got plenty of buzz and publicity. It was amazing how Lights got so much US airplay 18 months after it didn't even make top 40 in UK. First, it exploded on the radio and was followed up by a few performances, although not quite as many as MTN had. Both of these had very little effects on the song sales. Then, an out-there music video was released and it garnered a lot of initial buzz and caused the song to leap into the top 20 on itunes. Now, C'mon's video is losing it's popularity and the song's sales are slowly dying. It's basically a replica of Marry The Night's chart performance so far. On another note, I feel bad that nobody recognizes Will.I.Am's song as his. It will forever be known as Britney's song. I don't feel that bad, though, because it's true that it would be nothing without Britney. She made the entire song, musically and popularity wise.
