So S&T will not debut at number 1 despite of having sales prediction of 400k copies? Hmm... it's really hard to have a number 1 debut in the US nowadays. It seems LOOH is bound to have a lengthy run atop of the HOT 100 chart. It if does, it would be the first hit in a first month of the first quarter to enjoy such a long, decent stint at #1 since Ke$ha's Tik Tok back in 2010. And as much as I love S&T, it's nowhere near to pull off LOOH anytime soon. Not even Taylor Swift could do it, despite the notion that she's untouchable in this new era of hers. The only game-changer in the coming weeks I could see would be the new single of Beyonce with her Super Bowl performance and the other promotional deals she has in store for us this year. Bruno is such a lucky guy. Maybe this is the time for males to dominate the chart again. Esp. now that JT is back. I feel that she has no strong fanbase at all and I'm not sure if the Superbowl performance will help her to make her new single go to the number 1. Even though I just find its music video to be blatant indifferent, the record itself is enjoyable to listen with friends while having fun. With that, I'm starting to hope again that it would eventually continue her top ten streak, just because that song is good enough for a top ten hit.
