If that's the case, then why did many Midwest progressive democrats lose their primary races against the moderate Democrats during the 2018 midterms? Democrats flipped many House seats in the midwest by nominating moderates. Mayor Pete was right when he said NONE of the democrats that helped flipped the house in 2018 are endorsing Sanders because that's not what the midwest wants.
