I'm sorry but this take is ridiculous.

It's a primary. Why is it a woman's fault that Sanders' wasn't able to convince enough of the progressive movement that he was the right choice. Why is that an omen on Warren and not Sanders himself.

She didn’t and still doesn’t have a path to victory. She stayed in to snub Bernie. Biden got the support from his moderate rivals and Bernie did not. I wonder what she’s going to buy when she gets that fat check from the Biden campaign because I will bet my life she drops out tomorrow and supports Biden like the snake fake progressive she is.

It's clear she's splitting the progressive vote in crucial states. I don't think it's intentional though.

She's one of those "never say die" people but when they start writing on the toe tag it might be time to plan the funeral.

Are these OTT heavy handed metaphors doing anything for y'all? Cause I like making them.

a) stop playing the woman card, it’s just tiring

b) if she really stood by what she’s saying and cared about something other than herself, she would have dropped out yet here she is, begging for more money

Because this:

I would agree except the fact that Trump has shown us who he is. He literally says it on TV and in his speeches with his hateful rhetoric against immigrants and people of color and people see that and know that and still support him.

So idk how much I buy it that it's not just that they're hateful and racist. I truly think a significant proportion of them are.

I suppose I should clarify that it's most white people who are the rot of this country

Using white identity politics Trump was able to rile them up and get a majority of them behind him like soldiers and it was a result of their prejudice and hate for people who don't look like them

Sis a large amount of Warren’s base is middle-aged, suburban mom’s who’s second choice (or prev first choice) was Buttigieg.

That demographic resoundingly voted for Biden today. She’s not some magical progressive lane. Her backers will prefer Biden.

Fat check from the Biden Campaign?

Biden is still wining even though his campaign has no money and her campaign literally has $30 million in the bank.

Biden is still wining despite Bloomberg. Why can't Bernie win despite Warren?

False 40% of her voters second choice was Bernie I think like 16% was buttigieg.

I don't really know why the primaries are even needed at this point. We all know we're headed to a contested convention unless something completely drastic happens ala Edwards in 08'. Biden is going to get the nomination due to establishment support. At least that's my prediction at this time. Especially since he's winning more States than expected tonight.

However, the only thing I'm focusing on at this moment are the turnout rates. And they have been amazing so far for the Democrats. Virginia DOUBLED the total amount of votes compared to 2016. Across the country we're seeing a Democratic party that is energized. Especially black voters. A group that Democrats need to win. And I wish people would recognize that stat more.

Also, Bloomberg is surging only because there are millions of voters who don't even bother watching the debates or engage in political discourse like on here. Like my Dad said, most of these voters are seeing his ads, not his terrible performance during the debates or his equally terrible political past.

I wish we could focus on a primary race between Sanders and Biden, but unfortunately that's not going to happen.

Also, I would like to know why people are saying that Biden would get destroyed by Trump in the general election. Is he a moderate? Yes. But he certainly isn't like Hillary who had nearly the same unfavorable ratings as Trump. The States that I'm looking at carefully are Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Considering Trump only won those States by 65k votes, the Democrats actually have a decent path to victory. Especially since those States were largely won during the Obama era. And yes, that was a different time, but Hillary hardly campaigned in the Midwest. Not at all really. So if the Dems can actually go out and campaign this time, they could win.

I really don't get this doomsday mindset that people have with Biden. Sure he's could be better. For sure America needs a change up, but at the end of the day it's either him or Bernie. And we're all voting for either one of them.

It has nothing to do with being a woman. It's all about policy. If Warren was a true progressive she would have consolidated the progressive base. All of the moderates consolidated the moderate base, and it worked out extremely well.

That's not what everyone here has been saying calling her a Republican or center moderate. I guess they were all LYING.
