Lol i think you guys read into the promotion too much. If you listened to Gaga's apple interview, she's at a happy state right now. And she wants her music to bring happiness and hope into listeners' lives. That's it. That's why the music is more dancier, poppier and happier.

I know it's a very unpopular opinion lmaoo but if Sinner's Prayer was the lead single I think it would've made a big impact (not success but impact sksks) due to just how different it was from her previous stuff

Gurl she’s literally on fire and is doing promo like she never did before.. also her working with Max (which is AMAZING) is clear indication of her wanting successful hits this time around.
