it’s true though. And I don’t hate it AT ALL. I love how honest she was in her interview with Zane basically being like “I never gave the guy a chance and never met him so I decided to get off my high horse **** and at least meet the dude” and their first collab is probably gonna be a Top 5 debut! I love to see it 

 

edit: that being said I totally respect and understand Gaga avoiding it for the early part of her career. ITS THE REASON why she developed her own sound. No big name producer to craft a sound he’s already done for others. But now? I’m all here for it

For Gaga, a YouTube view counts as a VEVO view. A VEVO view doesn't not count on YouTube.

VEVO is the interface that distributes the music video to YouTube. The VEVO number can only be bigger than the YouTube number. But I'm pretty sure Applause debuted with over 12M views though

Let's also remember that Alejandro used to be the fastest watched video ever with over 8 million views in two days(the VEVO record didn't have a name at the time)

The fans need to be infected with coronavirus for SL not to debut in the top 5. It's 100% going top 10, probably top 5, most likely #3-2, and there's a little possibility that it goes #1 but Gaga would have to go harder on the promo for that
