Wait so let me get this straight... Gaga appeared on that Fallon skit saying she has an announcement to make on Monday, today, and it's Coronavirus related. So why are we waiting for something else?

This. She wouldn’t update her website to say “Stay Tuned” and knowingly have her producers and fashion director tease that it’s coming sooner rather than later. She’s not going to release the cover (even if it leaked, we saw what she did with the SL leak, aka nothing) and have her website say stay tuned for 6 months. It’s unrealistic. People need to get over the assumption that every music artist is going to wait to release albums until the fall, when even that’s not a definite time when all of this will be over.

I think she might announce the new dates of the tour, or just postpone it to 2021 publicly, at least in Europe

Well yeah I see your point but I’m going by her releasing the cover and drumming up more interest in the album when she wanted the focus on COVID. Obviously I’m happy we had news, but it seemed to counterintuitive to reveal the cover the week it was supposed to come out the day before she has a COVID announcement. And it’s not just because it leaked because as I said her philosophy seemed to be sticking with original plans despite leaks as said in the paper magazine. If she stayed silent on the cover we would’ve probably though it either wasn’t the cover or fake, several people didn’t believe the leaked cover was real (I wasn’t one of them). I think it’s pretty clear the album is coming early July the latest even if the tour is postponed.
