Russia trying to help Sanders win

Can americans stop trying to create chaos and make a reality show out of presidential campaigns? This is a very serious thing, but it's never taken seriously by american media or americans it seems. This is your life we're talking about, but no you gotta create conspiracy theories and in debates you gotta scream at each other and journalists will ask the candidates about their personal lives, and why they once tweeted something offensive 5 years ago. Everyone is acting like a damn child

but at least bernie denounces it. trump on the other hand welcomes the chaos. again, the difference between him and all the other candidates.

The whole Russian investment in the United States presidential elections is simply the reaction towards the 2013-2014 events in Ukraine. Some top security official saw United States' hand in the events leading up to the revolution in that country, and since most of those security officials considered Ukraine to be a part of Russia's backyard, they thought the US were meddling in Russia's affairs. Now they are bitter to show the US what it feels like when some country keeps meddling with the things she's not supposed to be concerned about. If it were Bernie, they would pick somebody else. I am sure Russia's intelligence will be focused on US elections until the two countries strike some sort of a deal on Ukraine.

Let's face it....if Trump doesn't win, this country's crazier half will loose their minds and most likely cause us to become even more divided than we already are. Exactly what Russia wants.

Well, we know Bernie's the type that would get on tv and say "stop it :interestinga:" instead of someone else who might hypothetically hop on tv and ask several countries to investigate his opponents or hack emails.

Whimsical bitch

one last thing, this interference with bernie is obviously first and foremost to muddy the waters and weaken the argument that the russian gov't is trying to help trump. this pretty much evens out the playing field in the conservative mind.

disregarding the intentions of russia's intelligence is the only palpable path to follow about the whole situation. there is an easily distinguishable flaw about their approach and their mindset: they (the Russian intelligence) think that with the help of media they can shift the whole elections' agenda and make various groups of voters fight each other on the issue of which candidate is a russia's puppet and which one is not. this is how they regard democracy: in their eyes, it's a system where the election's major themes are easily orchestrated by media and the voters discuss what you want them to discuss.

there could be no better way to prove them wrong than to disregard them and stay focused on the domestic issues that matter most for the United States voters. Russia should not be left entirely out of sight, but I am sure there are things like ecology, climate change and inequality that should be of prime importance to the voters rather than what Putin wants.

For real.

Mainstream media will stay sensationalizing our elections, though, because it is enormously profitable for them. And they have to stop Bernie at whatever cost because he is a financial threat to them.

But why lmao

This makes no logical sense. If anything they'd want to help Bloomberg or Biden to have the best chance Drumpf is reelected.

I don't see any rationale here other than trying to make a mess of everything

Because they want to  cause the most chaos and, for better or worse, Bernie is the one candidate that would work for if for no fault of his own. VERY devoted base (like Trump), movement of sorts (like Trump). Basically the exact opposite side of the political coin to Trump which means you'd have to VERY polar groups of people at each other.

Maybe Republicans will finally vote for election security bills now. They were warned by Democrats for 3 years that Russia or other foreign governments could switch to Democrats and they neglected our security for years.

At least Democrats have been United in our dissavowing of this kind of interference.

Publicly. But behind closed doors, who knows. I wouldn’t put it past the elite, both Republicans and Democrats, to fully welcome help from foreign governments as long as it benefits them

Democrats have been voting on bills and trying to get election security to be a high priority for years. Public votes are high proof they feel the same way privately.
