Sounds about white to me lol And please do not equate my country’s right wing policies with me. I have been continually protesting against it along with my MUSLIM boyfriend. So you’re racism towards me is a trite tactic. Veganism can destroy many cultures. Native people of America are and continue to be harassed because they fish and hunt and wear animals. Now Some Believe That Was Bad Advice. The evidence is too weak to justify telling individuals to eat less beef and pork, according to new research. The findings “erode public trust,” critics said." 7. Red meat was classified as Group 2A, probably carcinogenic to humans. What does this mean exactly? In the case of red meat, the classification is based on limited evidence from epidemiological studies showing positive associations between eating red meat and developing colorectal cancer as well as strong mechanistic evidence. Limited evidence means that a positive association has been observed between exposure to the agent and cancer but that other explanations for the observations (technically termed chance, bias, or confounding) could not be ruled out. https://www.who.int/features/qa/cancer-red-meat/en/ https://paleoleap.com/5-things-about-red-meat-study/ "4. The Explanations of How Red Meat “Causes Cancer” Don’t Account for Vegetables. From Examine.com, here’s a look at the potential mechanisms by which meat supposedly causes cancer, and an explanation of what they actually mean. The Paleo View podcast goes into more detail about this, specifically how a lot of the mechanisms don’t pan out if you eat your red meat with vegetables. So in other words, these observations about red meat or processed meat and cancer might be very relevant to people eating their meat with white bread and Coke (which is admittedly what most people do). But they don’t play out the same way if the meat comes with a side of broccoli." If you were careful enough, you’d see that a few pages back I’ve specifically mentioned that I would never ask anyone to change their eating habits. I just find it hypocritical that you make a case for eating meat using religion and culture but when I do the same for a plant based diet, you attack me. I don’t care what anyone eats, just own up to the fact that you’re murdering someone for your benefit. Have a conscience. That’s all.

I personally wouldn't harass native americans because I respect their culture and understand their reasons for doing things. My main problem is McDonalds and places like that and it's the same for most other vegans. You talk like we're a cult trying to take over the world. Most of us don't even think about other countries and their ways of living.

Nobody said they wanted to erase culture and traditions of native americans who have been persecuted for a very long time. Nobody said Japanese people should stop eating sushi. Nobody said muslims should stop halal products. Nobody said these things but you. You jumped into a conclusion where you finally found a victim where the simple message was that of animal cruaulty. Nothing was ever implied in the message that vegans want to SHARE (and only share not IMPOSE) about culture and different ethnicities and their food culture. Yeah and I remember your transphobia too Non-binary people exists and we ain’t going anywhere. I will always speak up for the victims especially when my cultures and family backgrounds are concerned. If banning animal cruelty means banning slaughter altogether, which is a Vegan goal, then you are erasing many cultures and many ways of life. There isn’t a way to avoid that. You've just showed your true reasons for commenting in this thread. I believe we all should care about the world but as a white western person myself I think who the **** am I to tell an Indian person for example, how to live their lives when I see problems at home with my own country and western culture. I am not an ignorant person but I'm not racist or arrogant either.

ilocorB 548
When will people realize that eating animals in the wild in past times is not the same as the industrialized meat production that we do today? It did not have the same impacts at ALL. Today 26% of continental surface (excluding antartica and greenland) are used for pastures and half of the land used for agriculture (around 10-13% of all continental surface) is used to grow food for the animals. It is the industry that has the biggest impact on the planet. Source: FAO, 2016
