Don't you think it's human nature to find new technology and things we aren't used to "odd and creepy"? 

This has been said about many things before. People got over them.

I don't see how it's "disrespectful" to literally project a video of someone singing that just happens to be in a new more advanced technology that makes them 3D instead of 2D. I'm only againts it if the artist explicitely stated they don't want that, like Prince. But I wouldn't expect most performers to be upset that technology found a way to make their legacy live on. Especially that no one is under the impression that this isn't a hologram - we all know what it is. 

In short I understand the skepticism and raised eyebrows but they're nothing more than that.
