audrey horne 1,180
It makes a lot of sense, "you can't deduce someone's gender by their appearance alone" but I wonder what are the real motives because it's quite the progress. 9 minutes ago, funkyhaus said: Confusing the majority to appease the few Come on, majority has nothing to do with equity. The only thing this forum is, is pro-gay men who are cisgender and even masc. Forget the LBT+ part on this site. If you're bi, trans or anything else than that you're mocked, ridiculed, made fun of or questioned Most the people commenting in this thread so far are prime examples. What a vile and toxic group of people.

It means people have a different opinion to you. Why is your opinion more valid and more correct? Like a poem said by a neydy in red

Voice and facial recognition are independent to the gender. Gender is just a social construct assigned by society. Technology doesn't benefit from that label, so there's no use in it. Also, they can cut expenditures from programming the AI to learn if it's male or female, etc. They're actually benefiting from this. I agree. Instead of recognizing/assuming the sex or gender, it's better to describe in terms of tneutral perspective. (Source: image taken from the linked article) Unless AI can develop "critical thinking" which is innate to living beings, then I agree with depicting people in neutral format. I know we are a few to recognise that here + we don't always get the chance to make it first page on every social topic so it can looks nasty sometimes, but yes, I'm so sick with the intolerance level within the community. Lady Rah Rah 2,013
I accept everyone for who they are. I have a couple of friends who ask to be referred to as they/them and I'm totally okay with that. Personally, I was born a female and feel comfortable that way. Not everyone does though and I encourage anyone who feels they were born in the wrong body to talk to someone and be who they are. I am totally on board with being gender fluid/non-binary etc as long as people can still identify as male/female if they feel that that is who they are Chromatica will live on forever. Jsays 329
I read this book once but totally forgot the name I think it’s called dystopia but don’t quote me, but it took place in the future and nobody had a name or specified gender or intriquite pronouns it was just them and they, and no one had a name, of honestly everyone keeps moving in the path they are moving I feel this future would be better off, no confusion, and 101% equality
