we have people falling for fake Gaga snippets here on the daily :poot:

At least the fake Gaga snippets that ppl fall for sound a bit like Gaga and with singing it's even harder to tell

This girl sounds considerably different and it's a normal conversation. Even her accent is not on point

Consistent to a tea, even when he is being recorded unknowingly.

This “prank” just makes me like him more. :sara:

Our? You're Canadian.

Canadian News covers American politics almost more than our own and our market is so interlinked with the US everything that happens there matters to us a lot

I guess u could say this election matters to us a lot even tho we can't actually vote so I'm not surprised ur seeing Canadian users super engaged in this

Because Bernie supporters don't post threads on Biden and Pete when they have something shady to report

Let's not be biased and double standard here

Anyway OT: these pranksters gotta find something better to do :toofunny:

I don't blame Bernie for this because it's not his fault people like this exist pranking and misleading ppl...

But if he was as big a stan about her as he claimed he should have recognized that wasn't her voice. That's kinda telling if anything his speech in the beggining may have been a bit embellished

I've only heard a live speech/interviews from Greta like 2 or 3 times and I'd know instantly that wasn't her

I agree, but the OP was not in any way casting Bernie in a negative light.

Not me tho. AFAIK clearly you and @Gagaloo92 are the one who bothered.

I was just putting it here for discussion, and some of the replies clearly getting it, oh is it a coincidence that those who did are not Bernie bias? :ohwell: Other than that, what you make of it is up to your EQ levels. I am cool.

Yup! One of my friends lives in Canada and he is the one always sending me updates as soon as they happen! He has phone banked for Bernie as well multiple times. He's definitely more involved than a lot of people  in the US

I know hence why I thought Bernie stans here were overreacting

If ppl started calling him a fool or an idiot I understand but nobody said that

This is only marginally negative in the sense that he didn't even recognize her voice

If Biden or Pete didn't recognize her voice I know full well Bernie stans here would make a thread and burn him to the ground and point out how they are "out of touch" with what's happening that they don't even recognize a high profile activist

This is what I hate about politics. People are always so biased and no one even acknowledges it :madge:

Our politics are much simpler. For example our election campaigns only last 2-3 months and it's only 1 because we don't do primaries (our Parties select their own leader to represent the party)

And since Canada is so interlinked with the US and US Politics are so much more complicated and long we end up hearing more about it from the media than our own so yeah

To be honest :rip:

I'm still trying to remember who it was here that made a convincing Gaga impression by raising the pitch of his voice on his Nintendo DS :cryga:

And there was that fake voicemail to Sarah that sounded halfway legit :rip:

It's not always drama free. Especially at the Provincial level in my Province (Ontario) don't get me started on the messiness...

Besides just cuz elections are much shorter doesn't mean parties don't constantly jab or make accusations to eachother cuz they do. The drama is still there

Also U should have seen our last recent Federal Elections. Trudeau's Centre Wing Liberals and Sheers Centre-Right Conservatives had 90% the same platform and they argued or trivial details it was so pathetic :triggered:

Imagine Biden arguing about policy with a very moderate Republican that was literally it :lmao:

At least the Centre-Left NDP and the Far Left Green Party had different plans to argue :toofunny:

Yeah but "our front runner." I don't go around saying that "our Prime Minister" when Trudeau makes headlines. Even though some of his policies affect us as Americans.

It's like he mascarading as an American voter.
