They are not the same group, but there is some overlap. There are MANY independents out there who dislike both mainstream Dems and Republicans and those are the disenfranchised people who have lost faith in politics. Those are the ones who need a strong platform to get behind and so many of them vote Bernie because he's not like most Dems and offers a breath of fresh air. Bernie does well everywhere there are open primaries (aka independents vote too). I actually disagree with that. So many moderates are lost right now. And I mean moderates from both parties. Trump and Bernie are too extreme so they have no candidate. People feel like their voices don’t matter and they feel disenfranchised. In a normal election, I’d agree with you. But trump has made everything extreme and whoever can steal the moderate votes from the other side will win this election.

Moderates have literally the majority of candidates running Dem. please spare us the "moderates have it bad" narrative especially with Dems. We haven't had a single left wing candidate or president in a long time. We have had far right and moderates. So please. The people who are disgruntled aren't the moderates. There's Pete, Amy, Biden, and countless others for them. Check out iTunes data & graphs at CHARTPOP.live

I’m fine with everyone discussing without name calling as several users have stated on multiple occasions. What I don’t stand by—and not saying it was you because it wasn’t just adding to the discussion—is getting snapped at when all I usually say when there are different opinions are as long as you can back up and substantiate why that’s great. I don’t need to know the reason, but I get heated when I’m put on blast like I’m probing for information. Anyone can support anyone without defaming each other. Zilla 13,462
I just wish people would stop booing each other. In order to go after the right, the left needs to get together. This also includes talking trash about other people but hey, I'm not the world's mother. 𝙸'𝚖 𝚊 𝚓𝚘𝚛𝚝𝚜 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚓𝚎𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚎𝚜 𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚍 𝚘𝚏 𝚐𝚒𝚛𝚕.
