REALITY 80,184
I'm going to be so interested to see how establishment Democrats like her react when Bernie gets the nomination. This blatant hypocrisy of, "Oh, we need to UNITE as Democrats if he want to defeat Donald Trump!" is such a load of bullshit. If you want to "unite", then you unite behind any candidate who gets the nomination. If that's Bernie, or Biden, or Pete, or Warren, or anyone else. PartySick 173,217
On one hand, I kind of agree. Bernie isn't going to be able to deliver on everything he's running on. Not in one presidential term at least. But on the other hand, as long as he gets us on track to those goals, that's what matters most. He doesn't have to deliver us, I'm sure a lot of his supporters and a lot of independents and dems who don't mind him realize that. As long as he rights the ship after Trumple-f*ck-skin tried to drive it off a cliff and creates policies that can continue to be built up by his successor then he'll do his job and his presidency will be a success. I think that's a little harsh. Not all centrists are centrists because they wanna cater to Corporations per say Many left wingers always shrug off centrism as just kicking Corporations asses Many just believe some left wing policies will backfire and so they don't support them U don't have to agree with centrists. But it's not fair to always accuse every centrist of just wanting to cater to Corporations I consider myself Centre-Left... My fav candidate was Warren. I don't think Politicians like Hillary do enough... But I also think some of Bernies policies are too agressive and might do more harm than good It doesn't mean it's because I feel sorry for Corporations

The people who hold power in DNC are largely funded and sponsored by corporations and they don't wanna lose that obviously. Very few are genuinly anti Bernie because of his policies...most are against him because it goes against the PACs and lobbies that fill their bank accounts every month. It's sad to see. They love money more than country and it's exactly why the dems will lose again...ugh

That is true But I think at least some politians think like everyday people. Some could be about funding but I'm sure there's some that genuinely don't agree with left wing politics regardless of funding I dunno just seems a bit presumptuous to me to assume that any politician has to be a leftist and that if they aren't there's some kind of corrupt motive behind it Economic theory has a lot of varying opinions behind it across a large spectrum. Many just don't buy into left wing politics. It doesn't mean Corporate funding always has to be the reason I'm not trying to argue or fight. But I also find some ppl are too harsh and judgemental of every politician they don't agree with (especially if that politician isn't promoting anything hateful per say) If I was a politician regardless of funding sources I would not be as far left as Sanders on a lot of things economically speaking especially. How many Senators did Bernie Sanders convince - many his colleagues for years - to convict a president they KNOW is guilty? How many did he convince to allow witnesses? Since he won't compromise, the only way he could deliver his agenda would be to get a 2/3 majority in the Senate, a strong enough majority in the house to over come the many dems who are against his plans and they'd need to reform the supreme court that currently is politically slanted against him. There's a reason Trump wants to run against Bernie. Washington is full of Clowns. The way no one likes him is a godsend. And with him fighting at the top and the American people pressuring at the bottom... they’re cancelled. Even if Bernie gets 25% of his agenda done, that is still a victory and improvement for millions of people and it’s so funny she’s trying to talk about rebuilding trust while she served boring, mediocre centrism and also got away with cheating Bernie in 2016 - we don’t want her opinions for a reason. and what is that reason Trump likes him? is clear the republicans will flop if they use the communist/socialist trope bc his policies (*Democratic Socialism) slap to most people. Lion Heart 15,041
Hillary voters: "We must UNITE the party." Also Hillary voters: "Bernie Sanders is un-electable! ItsTommyBitch 12,640
Well, she's wrong again I think there's again this sort of tacitly accepted idea that Bernie supporters are radical and naive optimists instead of radical pragmatists, and its really interesting to me... Like, people write articles that suggest "We, the moderates, unfortunately need to get on board for Bernie for his base just to beat Trump. They love him so much that if he doesnt deliver like we, the sensible adults, know he won't be able to, then they will still love him!" And it is HILARIOUS to me. I don't care if people identify as centrists, moderates or whatever, but I do think its kind of silly that so many people think leftists just stumbled upon this position, as opposed to an active and thoughtful and reflexive rejection of other ideological labels... Like I identified as a centrist or center-left, liberal democrat etc. too at some point sis, I know what the thought process is, I know the hangups, the fears... I *literally* remember arguing with people who disliked Hillary Clinton on here in 2016 because I was very much in love with the idea of a liberal feminist president in America, and her whole history of being in the public light since she married Bill, Hillarycare, the M.L scandal, all of it. I was INVESTED. It was drama, it was action - I knocked doors, I registered people, I took all of my friends to vote, I even drove 3 hours home with one friend into the night and skipped a class because she forgot to change her registration in time and she was very stressed out about whether to go vote or not and didnt know if it mattered. People will turn on Bernie Sanders if he, today, changes his mind on an issue that we know is the right moral issue to fight. Like if he says "M4A just can't get done, sorry y'all" - people will be GONE. Instead, we have trust that he will fight for it to his dying breath, and even if that is unsuccessful, he has successfully changed the political landscape of America for generations to come. This movement didn't start with him, he just gave it new life but its going to continue far into the future to make a better and more accountable America. The problem with the Clintons is that they are resisting the inevitable I say this all the time sorry, but the promise of "AOC" isn't just that shes internet savvy and smart and convicted and passionate.. its that theres thousands of AOCs all over the country waiting to be empowered to stand up for the rights of working people, women, minorities, etc. all over this country and thats the kind of thing that the DNC and washington elites can try to deny, but its a losing battle. 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
