How do singers avoid using the bathroom during shows?

How?  Like what if you were Gaga, performing GUY at the artRAVE and you had a huge stomach ache?  How awkward and uncomfortable would that be?  They must have diet plans or something they do to avoid these situations. Cuz either way, the show must go on !!

you just do it.... Sometimes(depending on the show) they can probably keep vamping the music/interlude. Ive done shows where I cant use the bathroom but you just push through until you can

Well there are usually several quick breaks and it's only 1.5-2 hours per show anyway

During interludes and breaks between acts, there is actually plenty of time to pee. Even if its in a water bottle.

I'm pretty much sure they are fasting a few hours before a big show.  Then take some energy drink/food right before the show.
