The World Cup was in Africa. So no wonder the song had african themes also she's party middle eastern, so pretty close to african descent. Remember not all africans are black. North africans are middle-eastern race (or considered white in the U.S for some reason).

LOL! I saw a black woman strutting the streets in Cambridge the other night, with long straight platinum blonde hair and wearing denim jeans. Traditionally, that hair colour/style and material of clothing is a Western thing. Did I give a ****? Nope.

North africans are berbers which means north africans, end of. Middle eastern are in the middle east.

North africa is in north africa.

There are many different languages in Morocco, in Algeria and Tunisia, and many different tribes with their own languages.

Being Syrian is also very different from being saudi arabian

Being turkish is not being arab either etc..

But do not say north africans are middle eastern. Shakira is lebanese and not arab.

No offense but please educate yourself before you try to educate others. Lebanese people ARE arabs. Do you even know where Lebanon is on the map? It's not in Europe FYI.

And North Africa was mostly carthage by the way back then, and guess where carthaginianan people came from? They came from the middle east, hence why both north africans are also considered middle eastern ethnicity wise.
