Sis you keep contradicting yourself :rip:

I've been SAYING it's a tie but people like you can't stop with your false claims of "win" based on SDEs that don't matter when there's an identical delegate count.

Technically he won. I think he will get one more delegate. Not sure.

But at this difference, consider it a tie and move on. That's my message to all those people who are having a nervous breakdown over this. U understand? :trollga:

The record - if it has any interest in being factual - must show that Pete is not the winner of the Iowa caucus.

With verified errors withstanding, Bernie Sanders would win not only the popular vote in first and final alignments and State Delegate Equivalent count, and there is verifiable evidence to vouch for this as well as major news outlets confirming that they cannot call the final results a victory for anyone

Technically, there should have been a recanvassing on Tuesday that would be done by now, and no one should be declared the winner until that is done... Bernie or Pete. And in the end, whether you think we should use the somewhat arbitrary SDEs or not (which again, Bernie would win), congressional delegates are what matter for the convention to decide the nominee, which seems to be either a tie or with Buttigieg slightly up. (Though again, if that is because of the SDEs then cannot be sure of that either :emma: ) Bernie even acknowledges this in his press conference.

Meanwhile what is essentially Tom Perez calling for it now while allowing Pete to claim victory is a clearly partisan act meant to allow Pete to gain free news coverage and extra media cycles off of the air of his Not-Real Victory. In fact, the omission of the DNC about their direct hand on the current recount and releasing of partial data in the last few days should call into question the ethics of this process  for anyone who is not thinking outside of their own candidate. If they are calling on a recanvass now, it must make you wonder how they were piecing together information in this current data entry process over the last 72 hours... It literally seems that they just selectively accepted the results of some places while mistakingly entering others, but in almost every case made no attempts to confirm results with precinct captains who, unfortunately for them, had posted their results live on social media before they could intercept. All of this not to mention several outstanding conflicts of interest relating to Buttigieg, the DNC, and Shadow, Inc.

He really didn't win. We get it, you like Pete, and you want to stick it to these mean awful Bernie Bros for some reason or another, but he did not win. "I like the truth when it is convenient for me" will not beat Donald Trump, or restore faith in the democratic process. The truth will.

This is *probably* my last post in this cursed thread. May the Iowa caucus burn in hell and on to New Hampshire :saladga:

Yep, Pete won

The fact you just take IDP word for it even after their blatant incompetence has been proven, and the fact that various sources including NYT and other mainstream news outlets are saying there's too many discrepancies to say who actually won :rip:

The willingness to overlook actual facts and the reality for the sake of declaring an illegitimate win is telling.

Bottom line, the results from this causucs are illegitimate and not trustworthy at all, no matter what. There frankly are too many mistakes, errors, and discrepancies that have been done to be verifiable or let people trust it was a fair or legitimate process.

Ironically, these are the very same people that repeatedly lectured us about the fact the results would be verifiable because of the paper trail, claiming that we were being conspiratorial by stating our fear that the party would manipulate results and that they literally couldn’t do that because the caucuses were public and they’d get caught.

Well: here we are. The party has been caught. And now these people suddenly don’t care about the paper trail and just want to declare Buttigieg the winner despite the inaccurate reporting.

It’s almost as if these people never cared about the election being accurate at all and will say anything they need to in order to delegitimize our criticism and portray us as conspiracy theorists. :rip:

Yea, if anything this entire mess just shows they aren't really interested in fair or legitimate elections, and are completely okay if they aren't so long as it benefits centrists and establishment candidates.

Then, just like the establishment they gaslight everyone who doesn't agree or who points out discrepancies and errors to try to make us question our very own eyes and what we see.

At the end of the day though, we're not wrong. They're just willing to dismiss everything that is wrong with this process since it means their preferred type of candidate has "won".

News outlets aren’t declaring a winner.

These are the FACTS:

Pete won with SDE

Bernie won the popular vote

There are errors, until they are fixed we can’t officially declare a winner

Democrats showing they don’t care about people of color. Not surprised.

Pete hasn't won with SDE even. Credible news outlets are declaring it a virtual tie as the 1.5 SDE lead amounts to 0.1% points which is too close to call.

Unless the inconsistencies and errors are fixed and better data released, then Pete and Bernie have tied in Iowa and there will be no actual winner.

I've recently decided to vote for Bernie but I'm by no means a  BernieBot... with that being said  the issue here is that there is no end. And everything just seems so fishy. Not to mention that as Democrats, we should all be appalled by the popular vote losing here. Again. Except, this time it's in our primary.

I have zero faith in the system. How with all this mess, do you want people to move on? Just because your candidate "won?"

No, because caucuses are a mess. I've said it from the start.

Not by his own previous metrics where he’s is electoral college like processes should end skdkd. Being the typical lying and greasy politician doesn’t slide when Bernie is the front runner 😋
