Also, the fear of the party not uniting is ridiculous.

I respectfully disagree with this. Whether one wants to blame Bernie or the party, I don't think one can safely say that the vitriol that this caucus has instilled in some Sanders voters towards the integrity of elections, the Democratic party, and to some extent Pete Buttigieg wouldn't dissuade voter turnout whether he's the nominee (and people don't see the point in voting for someone the game is rigged against) or not (because this experience has put such a bad taste of the other candidates in their mouth). I don't think the Clinton/Obama comparison is really a fair comparison considering that this is about a candidate rejecting the results of an election rather than a candidate personally attacking another candidate.

But again, I don't fault Bernie for speaking his truth. I just wonder what the effect of it might be.

The show already happened with the right. Trump ran a populist campaign and the republican establishment spent so much money, time and energy trying to take him down, but he only got stronger.

Now they worship his every step.

This is a presidential election, not a soap drama or a pop girl album survivor.

You're lucky it's not.

Newsflash. Your party is incompetent.

“Quality control” my ass

”Calm thinking and common sense” for you probably means putting this corrupt and incompetent election behind us and once again accusing those who are enraged by that very corruption and incompetency for not having calm thinking and common sense.

Will centrists like you continue to gaslight Bernie supporters for continuing to hound the DNC for greater transparency and less control from the party elites? Or is it always “but look at the “orange clown” over there! We need Unity!” tagline from y’all :fail:

Newsflash. It’s your party, as well. Unless you choose to go with the GOP.

”Gaslight”- the new word that the bernouts are running into the ground.

No, I don’t guess we need unity. Trump isn’t worrisome at all.  :fail:

The nominee will have to “earn my vote”. “Don’t hold the Supreme Court over my head, because it won’t be my fault”. “ I live in a red state so it doesn’t matter if I vote or if I write in someone...I’m  thinking Michele Obama would be great”. “I hope we lose, that will show people that we need a real change...four more years of Trump will tear it all to pieces and that is exactly what we need.”

Ok but we're still not fully there. 99.94% have reported. And they're 2 SDEs apart :toofunny:

Been busy all day and out until late, again on a big night it seems.

Just saw that Pete won Iowa. Congrats to him!

I don’t see him winning many more states at all, but he is SO young in politician years. He is building relationships in states for four, eight or twelve years on down the road.

On to New Hampshire!

try again booboo... The only reason I'm registered in YOUR incompetent party is because NY is a closed primary, the US is stuck in a two party system,  and a candidate whose policies actually help me is finally running under a ticket in your party.  I'll only continue to interrupt your party's regularly scheduled programming of tokenizing minorities, beltway politics, and getting in bed with the corporate elite until the progressives take over and finally create a new party that works for working class people that I'll finally consider to join.

As for your unity...

FF425870-772-C-4135-BC76-8-ED6-F42-EE3-F

Dangling that fat orange carrot called Trump in front of progressives asking them to abandon the prospect of an agenda that finally works for everyone will not work this time around. Not when your party is blatantly ****ing up elections and appointing members with blatant bias against the most popular candidate running rn. No ma'am if your unity means sacrificing holding the DNC accountable, keep it.

But your vote doesn’t even matter brobro.

Yeah, right. Have fun with that orange carrot and the new judgements coming down the pike from the Supreme Court. I’m sure they won’t be aimed at minorities.

I’m writing in a candidate in protest, because the party, government, two part system, voting process....doesn’t “work for me” at this exact moment in time.
