That theory assumes that Sanders won, and as we get closer to 100% reporting it's looking like there's a chance that didn't happen. Sure, a strong second in Iowa could be really helpful for another candidate, but it's less helpful when you were polling at first. And if Pete were to win, then surely it would have the same effect as "Bernie's win being taken away from him" when we thought Bernie was going to win? At that point wouldn't any conspiracy theory about the Iowa primary being rigged against Bernie have to be based on the integrity of the reported results?
