Literal investigative reporters are talking about the fact that Pete Buttigieg's campaign advisor is married to the CEO of the firm that created the APP, and they have financial ties to them...

We aren't saying he rigged this, but there is at least a strong conflict of interest, and even with his data reporting, he doesnt know if he won, so it was very presumptuous and political of him to essentially claim victory with no proof. If he can do that, every candidate should release their internal polls to fight him, imo, though we will know in the end when they verify that data, this is about claiming a narrative and conceding defeat when you may not have lost would be unwise.

The Buttigieg campaign is aware - even if they don't win, that they will benefit from claiming a victory early.

Isn't this the same as the Super PAC Bernie created that you guys are just brushing off?

Ive literally responded TO YOU specifically several times that I did not brush off the super PAC allegation, and I condemned it for not being entirely transparent, but no, this is not the same thing. I could explain it to you, but you likely have 0 interest in understanding or listening, so I will save my time.

Don't quote me again unless you have something serious to say, like :rip:

It blows my mind elections aren't held on holidays or Sundays in the US. I can't imagine how few Greeks would vote if they were held on working days

It doesn’t make sense, right? If the party truly cared about turnout, they would have made it a holiday long ago. In reality, people in the party probably brush off this issue, because low voter turnout preserves their fragile power.

Bernie definitely is going to take this as a victory.

New Hampshire is looking sharp right now. If he can keep Biden/Warren from being viable (as most recent emerson poll suggests), the muddled Iowa caucus won't matter so much. Bernie will go into NV with either 1 or 2 wins and a delegate lead. It's going to snowball from there and we're going to get the epic bloomberg vs bernie fight we deserve in super tuesday.

He could claim a victory, even if he didnt win, thats true. And he is still likely to win NH and possibly NV (though it is also a caucus :rip: )

But I worry that the chances of a brokered convention with superdelegates giving this to Bloomberg or Joe is increasingly likely now that he wasnt able to have a solid uncontested victory that could propel him all the way through SC with the most delegates anymore going into super tuesday, which lessens his chance of winning outright in the first delegate count.

This is f*cking ridiculous.

there's literally no way to know if this is correct without the entire worksheet math. We don't even know the total number of delegates they were splitting up here. It's not just 8. Someone on twitter said it was 10, which i can't confirm but it matters. also no idea how many total people were there. You need that to understand what the decimals were. Also....there's no proof that the numbers reported in this tweet are true. The only thing we see is a coin flip.

If you look at his other tweets....the second realignment was closer. the rounding makes sense.

It isn’t a super pac. As I’ve already indicated super pacs are 527 organizations. Our Revolution is a 501 c 4. You need to stop using the term super pac because that’s factually not true.

I used to live in Iowa, and I have friends still there who caucused last night in Iowa City. This is a tiny sample size, but in one precinct, Warren got 5 delegates, and Sanders and Klobuchar each took 3. No other candidates were viable. In another precinct, only Warren and Sanders were viable (based on friends' FB posts – maybe another candidate sneaked in at the end?), but I'm not sure about how the delegates were allocated and if there was a winner. I should also point out that Iowa City is an outlier in Iowa, as it's an extremely liberal college town. It's definitely not representative of the rest of the state.

Can anyone fill me in on an update. Do we actually still have NO official numbers out of iowa yet?

Yes no results. The Iowa dem party had a conference call with the campaigns at 11 this morning saying the results will come.

I know that Pete Buttigieg's campaign manager is linked to the firm who developed this app, but why is he funneling money from his campaign into developing the app alongside the Iowa Democratic Party? If you think about it, it's such a STRANGE thing to spend your campaign money on. Why are these connections existing in the first place? This makes me even more suspicious of his 'victory' speech and cocky tweets about Iowa. Why do most of his black constituency in South Bend hate him and his speech had six black women lined up right behind him? GIRL. We see through it.

Here's why Pete's connections are extremely problematic. For one, Elizabeth Warren and Donna Brazil flat out said the 2016 election was rigged in favor of Hillary. Are they conspiracy theorists? No.

It was rigged because during the primary, Hillary was heavily funding the DNC with her millions upon millions of dollars, and as Donna Brazil reported, Hillary had control of the DNC. The DNC was being ran by the Hillary Clinton campaign. This is also why Tulsi Gabbard left the DNC from her powerful position as the DNC Vice-chair.

We saw it in 2016, and now Pete is paralleling this behavior.

It's funny how all these "twitter users" don't post anything verifiable. Meanwhile entry polls in Iowa have three important notes.

1. Iowa had a huge dip in first time voters.

35% this year vs 45% last year. Is Bernie really motivating new voters like he used to?

2. Older voters vs Younger voters in Iowa.

55% were over 45.

45% were under 45.

3.

45 and older polled

25% Biden

24% Buttigieg

19% Klobuchar

17% Warren

Bernie was in single digits.

Younger than 45 polled

41% Bernie Sanders

21% Buttigieg

18% Warren

10% Yang

Biden in single digits.

Basically the only candidates with mass appeal is Buttigieg and Warren.

Bernie won't win us a presidential election. He is dead to 45 and over in middle America.

Biden won't win a presidential election either the young WON'T vote for him.

Biden should bow out fast before it gets embarrassing. Bernie still has time to turn things around for the old.
