And it’s not a bout promo cuz the album doesn’t need that, it’s about how the song is one Gaga’s best and deserved to be a single and heard and shared to as many people as possible.

I didn’t use the word constraint first, you did, that’s what I was referring to 

I’m not arguing that it’s a great song and that it deserved single treatment because it did, but the OP asked why it didn’t and the answer is what I’ve said, clearly they didn’t think it needed to be treated as a full era
