First of all I really never got why K-Pop is so popular!? At least I‘m not a fan at all.

It's because of how more closer the artists are to the fans. They want the experience and mainly because of their music videos and dance skills.

It's also due to the chemistry of each member to each other.

Ex: BLACKPINK Jennie and Lisa, an example of their chemistry is when Jennie told Lisa's hometown, Bangkok that she is doing her best, and that she became happier and healthier during the days.

It becomes more powerful when the whole group does it, like when the 2 other members Rosé and Jisoo sang Jennie's parts on one of their songs because Jennie got a panic attack before the song.

Wait, the clips aren't even 10 seconds long. :sharon: Chile.. this fanbase is a MESS.

And let's not forget the Grammy Awards have been a thing since 1959 and it will continue to survive regardless of any lack of viewership this year or the years to come.

Not all Award / TV shows are sellouts to large fanbases. It's as simple as that. And performing at the Grammys is a huge honor on its own especially for a foreign band.

Most importantly if BTS doesn't have a problem with it, the fanbase most definitely should not. They could have backed out if they it felt disrespected  but they're out there performing anyway.

We won't know how bad it is till the actual performance airs so overreacting now is absolutely unnecessary.

They're not that "prestige" at the moment though. The controversies they're facing right now are ruining their credibility.

All the more reason not to sell out, imo. (For the sake of diversity, viewership or any other reason.)

And large corporations/companies/whatever they are, always have a way of bouncing back. They won't disappear without a fight and they'll have a lot of time to redeem themselves.

As long as there are people who still watch and people that still want to perform at the Grammys, the show will go on. (And as long as they have investors/sponsors, most importantly. :ladyhaha: )
