I don't think there's anything about the hook/chorus thats an ear worm. It just sounds like part of the instrumental to me - I hate this trend of sacrificing choruses in favour of dance breaks/hooks or whatever in Pop music. It screams laziness to me. Gaga's not lazy they made a decision to go the rout they did with the song. We don't have to have the same opinion about the song. But to me it's a really exciting fun song! It's pretty clear to me that it's: Pre-chorus: Freak out, freak out, etc. Chorus: All I ever wanted was love x2 Post-chorus/beat drop: I want your stupid love. "All I ever wanted was love" is not part of the pre-chorus as it sounds completely different. I think the only reason people think "I want your stupid love" is the chorus is because of the build-up to it. But not all songs follow that formula.
