Still waiting to hear the full thing obv, but I wasn't impressed with the instrumental tbh. What I am impressed with is the fact she's serving vocals, at least she is SINGING. 

Also a great deal of y'all are being super nasty and haven't even heard the whole thing yet, have some damn restraint.

I haven’t heard the full leak but literally this sounds nothing like a BTW outtake. Her vocals ARE BLATANTLY from how she sings now. Its almost embarrassing that her diehard fans can’t tell that cause she sounds nothing like she did in 2011. Second, the production literally is miles different from anything BTW related. This is like a pop/80s/disco fusion. She’s taking those previous sounds and twisting them into a modern sound. I believe this song will succeed and most of you will sit there stunned (once again) For how unknowledgeable  you are of supposedly your favorite singer

People said the same when PI come out, sadly it did not succeed at anything except being rejected from coachella setlist.

I really have no issue with it except for the lyrics. Those lyrcs don't exactly highlight her excellent songwriting ability. Hopefully, the one we heard was a demo and she actually revised it. I don't care about it sounding dated cuz I'm not a huge fan of the 'current' pop sound.

Those are all huge pop songs that are arguably dated. But we still go offfff for those hits. Because they sound classic. And interestingly, they all sound different from each other.

I think Stupid Love has that potential. It’s fun and different and refreshing. Her vocals also blow away the competition, so it’s on another level already. 

Although I hope this is true. From what I’ve heard from the leak it does sound pretty generic and not like an instant classic.

But who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’ve only heard a small part. I didn’t really like the Shallow “leak” either... and look how that turned out.

The dated argument is irrelevant. If something's good, it will smash regardless of when it's released CC Uptown Funk and Get Lucky.

Personally I like the song, I think it's ok but it's not as bold as I think it should be for a Gaga lead - If she's going disco, go 100% unapologetic disco and I think she'd get more people on her side. Hopefully it ends up as a fun album track and this is a decoy
