"Carey, a five-time Grammy winner, wrote or co-wrote 18 of her 19 No. 1 hits that have landed on the Billboard Hot 100, including 1993’s “Dreamlover” and 1995’s “Fantasy” and “Always Be My Baby.” She is best known for her soaring high notes — and she has previously expressed frustration at a lack of recognition for her prolific songwriting. In 2018 she told Rolling Stone that “oftentimes people put that as a secondary thing and for me it’s always at the top of the gifts I could be so thankful to have.”

I don't think they are, no. Gaga got a Contemporary Icon Award back in 2015 and Taylor a  Hal David Starlight Award in 2010 but they weren't inducted into the Hall of Fame. It's too early into their careers for that tho. Not that they don't deserve to be included someday, far from it, but I'd give them a while longer.

From 1990 to 1997, she collaborated mostly with Walter Afanasieff.

They're still too young and not on Mariah's writing level yet (no shade) but i'm sure they'll get it in 10-15 years. 

Mariah wrote most of her #1s it was about ****ing time.
